Shipping & Returns

 Shipping.  We can ship to virtually any address in the United States. Shipping fees may be slightly higher for delivery to Alaska and Hawaii.

Processing Time.  We normally ship in 3 to 7 work days (Monday through Friday).  Allow an ADDITIONAL 2-4 work days for engraving.  We will notify you by email if your order is delayed beyond 7 work days (11 days for engraving).  Please contact us by email or telephone if you must have by a specific date.  We will make every effort to accommodate you.  We reserve the right to not ship a portion of an order should inventory not be available.  A prompt refund will be issued in such cases.

Shipping Transit Time.  Shipping by standard ground (USPS or FedEx) usually takes 3 to 7 work days (Monday through Friday).  Actual transit time is controlled by the USPS or FedEx, so we cannot guarantee this.  Standard Overnight is USUALLY delivered by the end of the next work (Monday through Friday) day, but often by the end of the second day.  Be sure to specify Standard Overnight at checkout if you want this service.  Note that "Overnight" Delivery often takes 2 days, as specified by the USPS, FedEx or UPS.  Note that method of shipment is at our option.  Please contact us for additional fees should you wish an alternate method of shipment.

Shipping Charges.  Standard Ground Shipping Charges are based on merchandise amount purchased:     $00.01 - $24.99 Shipping Charges are = $4.87                       $25.00 - $49.99 Shipping Charges are = $6.95                      $50.00 - $74.99 Shipping Charges are = $7.95        
There are no standard ground shipping charges on purchases of $75.00 and over.                            ** There is no free shipping on "Overnight" Delivery.**

Shipping Insurance.  OPTIONAL Shipping Insurance is available for all products at a cost of $0.50 per item (Insurance is more for the more expensive lighters).  This insurance assures prompt reshipment of lost packages and/or merchandise damaged on receipt.  This insurance is valid for 15 days after shipment for NEW, UNUSED lighters only.  The Zippo Lifetime Warranty is valid for all used lighters.  There is no cost for the Zippo Lifetime Warranty repair which the consumer handles directly with Zippo Manufacturing (For Windproof and BluFlame lighters only -- There is a $5.00 charge for MPL lighters).

Sales Tax.  California residents only:  California Sales Tax is added to the merchandise total of your order.

Returns and Refunds.  All BuyLightersNow.com purchases carry a 30 day money back guarantee.  Please email or telephone us to obtain a Return Authorization Number.  If we have made an error, we will correct our mistake or refund all of your money. We will also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).  For all other reasons, we will issue a refund for the merchandise and sales tax amounts only.  However, return shipping expense is the responsibility of the customer.  In all cases, the merchandise must be new, unused and in its original packaging.  Your refund will be made immediately upon our receipt and inspection of the merchandise.  CORRECTLY ENGRAVED PRODUCTS CANNOT BE RETURNED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in most cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request to you (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

We suggest you ship with "signature required".

Defective Merchandise.  Defective Zippo lighter products must be returned to Zippo Manufacturing Co. under the famous Zippo Lifetime Guarantee.  We are more than happy to assist you returning your defective used product to Zippo.

Invalid Orders.  BuyLightersNow.com reserves the right to refuse an order or portion of an order when the pricing on the website is in error, or for any other reason whatsoever.  Under such circumstances, a full and immeidate refund will be made.
